Electronic Discovery
Our Role
Digital Forensics and Electronic Discovery Specialists
Project Background
Our client was engaged in a civil lawsuit involving discovery of nearly 30 devices, totaling approximately 5 Terabytes of data.
Project Tasks
We were hired to perform a forensic preservation of the devices, prepare the total dataset for electronic discovery, perform the appropriate searches responsive to the discovery request, and provide a hosting platform for counsel review and production.
Project Outcomes
- We were able to preserve all digital devices responsive to the inquiry.
- By using our own secure forensic environment, we were able to perform preprocessing and prefiltering of data to reduce the size of the responsive set by over 99%!
- By limiting the size of the dataset, the eDiscovery dataset hosting, review, and production fees reduced by well over $100,000!
